DEVELOPMENT
PROGRAM
The EHNA Development Program is designed to challenge, inspire and support athletes as they grow through netball.
Athletes in the program will:
-
Develop strong fundamental and advanced netball skills
-
Build confidence, resilience and game awareness
-
Learn what it means to train and compete in a development and performance environment
-
Be supported by experienced coaches who focus on growth and progression
-
Gain a clear understanding of the pathways available within netball
Whether you’re building your foundations or ready to push into higher-level competition, the program provides the tools, guidance and opportunities to help you take the next step — at the right time.
Every athlete’s journey is different, but the EHNA Athlete Pathway shows the opportunities available as you progress.
Your pathway begins in club netball, where you learn, compete and develop a love for the game. From there, athletes can progress into the EHNA Academy, focusing on skill development, confidence and preparation for higher-level netball.
Athletes selected into EHNA Representative Teams train and compete in a high-performance environment at Association Championships, where commitment, consistency and growth are key. From this level, opportunities may open into Fever-In-Time and WANL Underpinning programs.
There is also a Premier League pathway for Representative athletes, offering additional competitive experiences for those ready to be challenged.
Progression through the pathway is earned through effort, development and readiness — and every step is an opportunity to learn, grow and push your potential.
